Docent of the Year

At the Castle of Good hope, built in 1679 by the Dutch East India Company otherwise known as the VOC, a nice game of “pick-up tour guiding” took place. With grace, Marit walked us through the brief history of this institution from none other than the pamphlet. A true inspiration to us all, we learned that this establishment was used as a replenishment station for the VOC and currently serves as a historical site, museum space, and place for military ceremonies. Thank you Marit!
